Dutch Tool Chest Hinges with hasp
The Dutch Tool Chest popularized by Chris Schwarz uses a hinge designed to mount with the straps on the underside of the lid while the second strap is mounted to the outside of the chest. These hinges are specifically designed for that installation and are based on the design I made for one of Chris’s early Dutch tool Chests. The long lid strap is 12” and the shorter chest strap is 6 1/2” Forged from 1/8” x 1” steel. Matching slotted flat head screws are included. This set also includes a hasp designed for use on the this style of chest.
